Cross-Country Training

Coronet are training hard for the school event in week 3. Every day we are popping out to work on aspects of Cross Country running. We are building stamina to run distances and also pacing ourselves to complete the course. Check out those determined faces, awesome effort guys! 👍

Firefighting in the past, present and future.

Doug and Mike, the firefighters, came to tell us all about what it's like to be a firefighter.

They showed us some old hats and some of the later hats. We also saw some pictures of old fire trucks (horse or man and cart), and newer ones. It was very interesting to listen to all of the different things that have changed.

A very special visitor.

Coronet is learning about changes and movements over time. Today Shari Stalker shared with us about the changes to the very place we live and learn - Shotover Country. It was very interesting.

Luminescence

The Luma Kids wrapped up their sessions today with a bit of exploring through their science gift box. It was very exciting. We've had such fun over the last few weeks.

Dare to Dream

On Thursday we were lucky to have Sam Hazledine talk to us today about Sir Peter Blake. His favourite saying was "Dare to Dream."

What is your dream?
