Art exhibition excitement!

There has been a buzz of excitement in Coronet as we put the finishing touches to our exhibits for the Shotover Primary Art Exhibition next week. Here are some of the students working hard on a paper mache piece.

We hope you can join us to see the outcome of all the children's brilliant artwork which will be showcased in Skippers habitat on Wednesday 6th June from 5pm-8pm.

Have you lost a dog?

As part of our literacy program, some of the habitat have been studying posters. We looked at the  book 'Oliver and Patch' by Claire Freedman and Kate Hindley, in which the boy makes a poster to try and find the owner of a 'found dog'. We thought we could do a better job, and here are some of the fantastic results.

P.E - Ball skills

We have been having lots of fun in the afternoons in P.E. It is awesome to see all the great attitudes to games and giving everyone a go! Here we are practicing our ball skills and also playing a favourite - SEAWEED!

Habitat Heroes

Our habitat is full of Habitat Heroes.

To start each day we celebrate two Habitat Heroes from each mentor group as well as two extra from Miss Muireann. Look below to see what it takes to be a habitat hero!

We love seeing the smiling faces of our Habitat Heroes and everyone celebrating with them. They get to have an extra special day - just ask a Habitat Hero about it! Keep up the awesome work Coronet!
